CCTV of Choi Siwon's dog biting the victim released + actress Han Go Eun speaks in defense of dog owners

1. [+531, -16] The dog has history of biting the security guards and others around him so they knew that he had biting issues and yet they never put a muzzle or a leash on him when taking him out. Instead they were throwing birthday parties and posting pictures of him unleashed, I'm just speechless. Choi Siwon's mentality is the issue here, he's a psychopath.

2. [+428, -9] I feel so bad for the victim just seeing this. Imagine the terror she must've felt. That dog needs to be put down.

3. [+426, -20] I would've stomped on that dog to death

4. [+41, -0] The family is incredibly selfish and are all psychopaths with an inability to to understand what we're saying... Choi Siwon has only acted like he's smart and respectful but he's nothing but their son in the end.

5. [+39, -0] Well they consider the dog their family member so treat him like family and penalize them with murder~

6. [+38, -1] That's really vicious... for a dog to just run and bite like that without even being provoked?

7. [+38, -0] Put the dog down and penalize the owners

8. [+34, -0] Even more ridiculous is what the dongsaeng b*tch has been saying. Just because the dog got training once a week doesn't mean the stupid dog was suddenly like "yes I promise I won't bite anyone anymore ruff ruff"... they needed to have done the very basic by leashing him at least, tsk tsk. Just keep your mouths shut.

9. [+33, -0] So sad to think that a life is lost so senselessly like that

10. [+33, -0] Is that dog crazy? Why would it randomly just bite someone like that? That's not a dog, that's a beast

1. [+493, -4] Whenever you get on the elevator with your dog, if it's small enough, it's basic etiquette to hold it. It's terrifying for people on the other side of the door to have a dog randomly burst out at them. And by the way, there's a 50,000 won penalty if you don't keep your dogs leashed.

2. [+465, -10] They need to file a lawsuit and create a precedent out of it. A person died, come on.

3. [+307, -4] Take this to court... and take this as an opportunity to revamp pet laws. We need to make sure that dog owners are legally capable of pet ownership.

4. [+93, -0] It's not just because Choi Siwon's a celebrity... a dog owner like him needs to be penalized severely. He knew that the dog had biting problems and ignored the issue until a person died. If we let this end with just an apology and some settlement money, then dog owners are going to be complacent and think that their dogs can bite whoever they want as long as they have the money to compensate for it.

5. [+86, -2] They're psychopaths, right? Throwing a birthday party for a dog that murdered a person?

Article: "All the blame goes to the dog owner?" Han Go Eun speaks out on the Choi Siwon controversy

Source: Herald Pop via Nate

"Because the weather was so good... I tried to take the kids out for a walk... but people were telling me, 'Hold the leash tighter. Didn't you see? That dogs can kill people?'... As a dog owner, I can't do anything but hold my head down and apologize.

It's so true that there's no bad dog in the world. Would something like this have happened if the dog that bit someone and caused harm belonged to (celebrity dog trainer) Kang Hyung Wook-ssi? Why are people not blaming the owner and instead demanding that the dog be put down... It's a life... I'd like to carefully speak out on behalf of it and have people recognize and respect that it's a life of its own.

I do agree as a dog owner myself that it's wrong to see other dog owners with unleashed dogs. But you also have to see the other side, that people come up to touch our dogs on walks just for being cute without asking for permission. The dog can bite in a situation like that but all the blame comes back to the dog owner and the dog. I think people need to change their perspectives a bit."

1. [+2,033, -152] I don't think she has any right to be saying this in regards to the current scandal. The dog was kept unleashed and went into the elevator on his own where he bit someone. Of course the owner is at fault for irresponsibility.

2. [+1,886, -131] A person died... I don't think it's right to be posting in defense of dogs yet.

3. [+1,851, -144] What nonsense is she spewing? Of course all the blame goes to the dog owner, who should it go to instead? The victim?

4. [+175, -6] If I could share my opinion as a dog owner myself, this is 100% the fault of Choi Siwon's family. If they recognized that the dog had biting problems, they should've done something about it. It's completely their fault that they still kept the dog unleashed. Did Han Go Eun not fully read everything that had happened? She's adding nothing to the conversation and instead making the rest of us dog owners look bad. Please, as a public figure, think before you speak.

5. [+169, -15] She should've stayed quiet. Look here lady, a person died... Would you still be saying this if your own mother was bitten to death by a dog? The dog should be put down, no questions asked.

6. [+146, -5] She doesn't seem to understand the point of the problem and is spewing nonsense instead. Choi Siwon's family lied saying the dog left the house while the door was left open and then deflected blame by saying the death was caused by a secondary infection at the hospital. That's what people are angry over.

7. [+124, -1] The point of her post is completely different from the situation at hand... The victim didn't die because she went up to the dog and touched him without permission.

8. [+115, -1] She doesn't get what's happening. The person didn't die because she tried to touch the dog like she's trying to claim.

9. [+61, -1] So what is she trying to say? She sounds really dumb...

10. [+38, -1] I wonder if she could still be saying this if her mother was killed by a dog?

11. [+36, -1] You're going about this all wrong. First of all, you should've said something in consolation for the dead. Why are you more concerned about the stigma dog owners will be facing instead of the life that was lost? Please have some respect for human lives first.

12. [+31, -0] What is she saying? ㅋㅋ I saw the CCTV and the dog ran up to her and bit her. This has nothing to do with "people coming up to touch my dog because it's cute"

13. [+30, -4] Her argument is about as logical as saying a rape victim should've been more careful

14. [+29, -0] There's always people like her in debates... they act like they're in the middle ground but really they're talking about something completely off topic but acting like they're objective and logical...

15. [+29, -1] How many times do we have to tell you... the dog went up to the victim and bit her first
